AQUA CARES GRANT PROCESS
The Aqua Cares Foundation accepts grant applications every year for programs, events, and missions.
1. Who may apply for a grant?
Organizations classified as 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charities by the Internal Revenue Service. Organizations that provide programs and services that benefit the residents of Sarasota and Manatee Counties.
PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO GRANTS THAT INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
* Supporting under-served children/youth
* Helping to provide safety and/or security to the community
* Improve the lives of the community through education, advocacy, and training
2. Application
Please write an executive summary listing exactly how the money requested will help you achieve your mission.
3. Attachments
* IRS Letter of Determination or W-9
* List of your Board of Directors and their Occupations
* Mission Statement and Policy Statement on Nondiscrimination
* Current year operating budget (Projected Support and Expenses)
* Most Recent Strategic Plan
* Program or Project Budget
* Letters of support (optional)
Grants that range from $100 - $2,500
Grants that range above $2,500 are invitation only.
